Claire House

Claire is Whakatāne born and raised and loves living here, after many years abroad.  As a qualified teacher Claire loved working with young people and seeing them grow and learn as a mainstream and Reo e Rua primary teacher. Her next career move took her into the charity sector, fundraising to provide services and support for people in crisis. Claire has many years of experience in the charity sector, as community fundraising manager for Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and Isle of Man at the British Red Cross. She brings this experience to Stage Door as our partnership and funding coordinator. Throughout these roles, her camera has always been close by, and now photography is her main focus. Claire absolutely loves capturing interaction and emotion on camera and is Stage Door's official photographer.
