The purposes of Stage Door Productions Charitable Trust are as follows:

• To advance education and increase the public’s understanding and appreciation of the arts by providing performing arts workshops, seminars, training and skill programmes, and events.
   
• To advance education and increase the public’s understanding and appreciation of the arts by producing theatre performances to the public. 
   
• To be beneficial to the community by promoting the enjoyment of performing arts to benefit the wellbeing of the community.
   
• To advance education by providing scholarships and financial support to the Eastern Bay of Plenty community to attend performing arts workshops, seminars, training and skills programmes, events, and other educational opportunities.
   
• To be beneficial to youth by promoting the mental and social health and wellbeing of rangatahi through performing arts.
