Lily Isaac

Lily has been performing for more than half her life! At just 6 years old she first took to the stage, performing the role of Molly in Theatre Whakatane’s 2015 production of ‘Annie’. Since then Lily has been in love with Musical Theatre! Soon after, she began private singing lessons with Trace Tidd, regularly completing Singing Exams, competing in Singing Competitions and performing in shows and concerts ever since.

In 2017 Lily was cast in Theatre Whakatane’s ‘Evita’. The following year she earned a Zony Best Supporting Actress nomination for her portrayal of Flounder in Stage Door’s production of ‘The Little Mermaid,. In 2019 she appeared as Marta in Theatre Whakatane’s ‘The Sound of Music’ AND as Jemima in Tauranga Musical Theatre’s production of ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Jr’ - for which she received her second Zony nomination, this time for Best Leading Female in a Junior Production.

Most recently Lily took on the title role in Stage Door’s 2021 production of ‘Annie Jr’. Whakatane audiences can look forward to seeing Lily on Stage again soon to play the role of Summer in the upcoming production of ‘School of Rock’. Lily loves children. She is excited to be joining the Stage Door team as an assistant tutor in our junior Musical Theatre classes and is looking forward to being a part of helping young people dive into the world of performing arts.
